Privacy Policy

Kinesis Physical Therapy Corp (“Kinesis”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through kinesispt.com, why we collect it, and how you can reach us about it. We handle personal information in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

What we collect

Contact form. When you send us a message, we collect what you type: your first and last name, email address, phone number (if given) and message, plus the address of the page you sent it from. The form is emailed to us. We use it only to answer your inquiry. Please don’t include health details in the form; we’ll discuss those with you in person or by phone.

Server logs. Like any website host, Cloudflare automatically records standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is used to deliver and secure the site.

Website statistics. When you browse the site, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it: pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location (based on your IP address) and how you arrived, such as the website that referred you. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. It does not give us your name or contact details.

We do not sell your personal information.

Services we use

• Mailgun delivers contact form messages to our inbox by email.
• Cloudflare hosts the website. Its Turnstile check on the contact form looks at technical signals from your browser to tell people apart from bots.
• Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 provide the website statistics described above, under Google’s privacy policy.
• Google Maps is embedded on our contact and location pages. When the map loads, Google may set cookies and receive information such as your IP address, under Google’s privacy policy.

These providers may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.

Cookies and your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. The site works without analytics cookies.

Keeping your information

We keep contact form messages only as long as we need them to deal with your inquiry or as the law requires, and we take reasonable steps to protect them.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to our using it. To do so, contact us using the details below. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta.
