BEAVERLODGE WEATHER

Learn More About Beaverlodge, AB

What’s not to love about a town that has Beaverlodge in its name? This cozy little hamlet is located on Highway 43, just west of Grande Prairie and east of the British Columbia border.

With so many outdoors activities available there are always fun things happening around every corner whether you’re looking forward too spending time outside during summer months or prefer the winter weather.

The town was named for the Beaverlodge River, which was known as Uz-i-pa (“temporary lodge”) by members of the Beaver First Nation. The first European-Canadian settlers arrived in 1909.
